Hosted by The Berkeley Center for Cosmological Physics Teacher Academy and Quarknet

Goals of the workshop:

  • Learn and understand the evidence for a minimum straightforward cosmological model of the universe.
  • Link these first two goals to standards based high school physics skills and knowledge through model experiential teaching and learning

Global Teacher Academy Fellows Program

We regret have not had official notification as planned, but we have learned through other channels that we will most likely be asked resubmit our proposal for a Global Teacher Academy Workshop in the Fall. While we are disappointed, we were encouraged by the response from our partners and their teachers in the 7 states outside of California to which we applied for funding. We will continue to seek funding for our Global Cosmology Teacher Academy and give priority to teachers who enthusiastically applied to this opportunity for future workshops.
